Workshops and Auditions
Capitol Movement, Inc. strives to elevate the quality and integrity of dance instruction and performance in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The workshops and classes we offer are designed to challenge dancers to reach their skill and performance potential. All class and workshop levels have been set based on professional industry standards to help prepare dancers for work in a real performance and company setting.
Intermediate/Advanced Modern

When: Friday, January 5, 2007 Time 7:30-9:30pm
Where: Lincoln Theater on U Street.
Enter through the back stage door on V Street;
limited parking in the back lot.
Fee: $25.00 Results Gym Members (with ID) and CMP Cast $15.00

When: Friday January 26, 2007 Time 7:30-9:30pm
Where: Results the Gym in Capitol Hill
Dancers chosen for the show will have mandatory rehearsal Saturday, January 27 and Sunday, January 28.
We can not remit any refunds for registration fees.
Company Classes
Company classes are taught by CMP cast members and directors and are open to the public.
- Free for CMP members
- $15 for outside professionals or students of dance
- Held at Results the Gym in Capitol Hill from 7:30-9:00 PM

Auditions
Choreographers from DC, New York, and LA taught audition workshops throughout 2005 and 2006 to give dancers in the DC metropolitan area an opportunity to work with the industry’s elite. At the conclusion of each workshop, the featured choreographer selects a cast of dancers to perform their pieces in the Capitol Movement Project.
